Becoming an approved supplier creates an opportunity to bring Synergy’s food products to one of the largest convenience retail networks in the United States. 7-Eleven actively seeks innovative products that deliver quality, differentiation, and convenience to its customers. This approval also reflects Synergy’s ability to meet the rigorous food safety and quality standards required by major retail partners. 7-Eleven requires food suppliers to maintain GFSI certification and comply with detailed requirements covering manufacturing, food safety, quality, labeling, and supply chain management. For Synergy, this represents another step in expanding our commercial opportunities beyond our core healthcare and foodservice markets. We look forward to exploring opportunities to introduce our products through the 7-Eleven network and continuing to build relationships with leading retail partners. 08.15.26 Expanding Our Production Capacity Synergy Food Group is pleased to announce an expansion of our manufacturing capacity through our strategic partnership with AmeriPack Foods, increasing our production capacity from 500,000 to 650,000 meals per week. This additional capacity strengthens Synergy's ability to support demand for our frozen meal platforms, including medically tailored meals, performance nutrition, and other specialized foodservice solutions. The partnership with AmeriPack provides Synergy with additional manufacturing resources and strengthens our ability to fulfill orders across a broad range of customers and program sizes. Whether serving a local community organization, regional healthcare system, retail partner, or national health plan, having the capacity to scale production can be an important competitive advantage. For our Medically Tailored Meal business, this expanded capacity positions Synergy to support the continued growth of Food Is Medicine programs as more healthcare organizations, health plans, and government programs recognize the potential for nutrition-focused interventions to improve outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. The increase to 650,000 meals per week represents a significant step forward in Synergy's growth strategy. By combining our existing manufacturing capabilities with AmeriPack's resources, we are building greater capacity and flexibility to meet customer demand while continuing to deliver the quality and consistency our partners expect. We look forward to putting this expanded capacity to work as we continue growing our customer base and expanding access to Synergy's specialized nutrition solutions. 07.28.26 Nature Medicine Researches the Impact of MTMs One of the most exciting aspects of the Food Is Medicine movement is that the body of evidence continues to grow. In a 2026 Nature Medicine study of Massachusetts’ Medicaid demonstration, participants who received medically tailored meals were associated with 31% fewer hospitalizations, 20% fewer ED visits, and $3,433 lower total healthcare costs per participant during the study period (as reported by the authors).* These findings are consistent with a growing body of research suggesting medically tailored meals may improve certain utilization and cost outcomes for some populations with diet-related chronic conditions. For Synergy Food Group, research like this underscores why we're committed to developing scratch-made, Registered Dietitian-designed medically tailored meals. Every meal we produce is created to support individuals managing chronic conditions while delivering the quality, consistency, and great taste that encourage long-term adherence. As more health systems, Medicaid programs, and insurers evaluate Food Is Medicine initiatives, we believe demand for reliable manufacturing partners may grow over time. Synergy is preparing for that future by combining evidence-based nutrition, culinary expertise, and scalable manufacturing capabilities that can support programs ranging from local community organizations to national healthcare networks. The science continues to evolve, and many researchers and healthcare organizations are increasingly focusing on nutrition as part of care. At Synergy, we're proud to be helping build that future - one medically tailored meal at a time. 07.25.26 Milestone Announcement We're pleased to share that Synergy Food Group has received its first purchase order from LHC Collective for our high-protein, high-carbohydrate endurance meals developed for athletes. We view this initial order as an early commercial step in our athletic nutrition initiatives as we continue expanding our portfolio of specialized nutrition solutions and medically tailored meals. We appreciate the opportunity to serve LHC Collective and are grateful to our StartEngine investors for supporting Synergy's growth. We plan to share additional updates as available while we work to execute our strategy. 07.23.26 Why are doctors prescribing food? When most people think about healthcare, they think about doctors, medications, or medical procedures. Increasingly, healthcare providers are recognizing another powerful tool in improving patient outcomes: food. This approach - known as Food Is Medicine - is transforming how healthcare organizations support people living with chronic, diet-related conditions. Rather than treating nutrition as an afterthought, Food Is Medicine integrates evidence-based nutrition into a patient's overall care plan. One of the most effective Food Is Medicine interventions is the use of Medically Tailored Meals (MTMs). Unlike standard meal delivery services, Medically Tailored Meals are developed specifically for individuals managing conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, COPD, and other chronic illnesses. These meals are designed by Registered Dietitians to meet the unique nutritional needs of each condition and are intended to complement medical treatment under the guidance of a healthcare provider. Why is this important? Because chronic disease remains one of the greatest challenges facing our healthcare system. According to the CDC, nearly 6 in 10 U.S. adults live with at least one chronic condition, and these conditions account for the majority of healthcare spending. As hospitals, health plans, and providers continue to focus on value-based care, they're looking for innovative ways to improve patient outcomes while reducing avoidable healthcare costs. Growing research suggests Medically Tailored Meals can play an important role in achieving both goals. Studies have found that MTMs have the potential to reduce hospitalizations, lower healthcare utilization, and improve quality of life for high-risk patients. According to research from Tufts University, broader adoption of medically tailored meals could potentially save the U.S. healthcare system billions of dollars each year while preventing millions of hospitalizations. At Synergy Food Group, this is the future we're helping build. Founded in 2014 and backed by decades of food manufacturing expertise, Synergy develops scratch-made, Registered Dietitian-designed medically tailored meals that combine clinical nutrition with exceptional taste. Manufactured in USDA/FDA and GFSI-certified facilities, our meals are designed to meet the needs of healthcare organizations ranging from local community programs to national health plans and provider networks. We believe that when nutrition is treated as an essential part of healthcare, it has the potential to improve lives, strengthen communities, and support a more sustainable healthcare system. 07.16.26 Synergy Food Group Announces New Partnership Synergy Food Group has established a strategic commercial partnership with Ameripack Foods, a Texas-based food manufacturer and retail supplier. Through this relationship, Ameripack is introducing Synergy’s frozen meal platform to select retailers in Texas while sharing retail feedback and making introductions where possible to help support our expansion efforts. These introductions may or may not result in retailer listings or purchase orders. We believe this relationship supports our growth strategy and may help us expand our reach into new markets, though expansion will depend on retailer interest and other factors. 07.10.26 Synergy Global Foods Welcomes Greg Grisanti Please join us in welcoming Executive Chef Greg Grisanti to the Synergy team. With nearly four decades of experience in culinary innovation and product development, Greg brings a wealth of expertise that will help strengthen our Food Is Medicine platform. Greg is one of the most respected culinary innovators in our industry, and his commitment to quality is exactly what Synergy stands for. We could not be more excited to welcome him to the team.” — Greg Durrett, CEO, Synergy Food Group A Louisville native, Grisanti brings more than 38 years in foodservice, most recently as Director of Culinary / QA for Long John Silver’s, with prior culinary leadership at Frisch’s Big Boy, Bob Evans, and Panera Bread. An honors graduate of Johnson & Wales University, he became the second Certified Research Chef in the United States in 2000 — one of only a few hundred worldwide. MTMs help stabilize chronic conditions, reduce acute events, and support better disease management. We prioritize food safety and quality assurance, adhering to strict practices throughout our manufacturing process. Excellent solution for labor shortages, break/weekend feeding and emergency preparedness! Our Process We have decades of experience in producing the safest food possible in our USDA inspected facility. We combine time-honored culinary techniques with modern technology to produce your meals safely, efficiently, and at a controlled cost. Your meals begin as the finest raw materials available. Fresh white meat chicken and turkey. Pork cushion and loin. Ground American beef. We employ 2 cooking techniques for protein- kettle cooking and sous vide cooking. We make every product how you would make it from scratch at home, only bigger. We start with a dedicated filtered water supply and scale all ingredients per the recipe, and simmer in steam-jacketed stainless steel kettles. The perfect way to do pastas, sauces, and rice. We also kettle cook our chicken to perfection with no additives, no preservatives, and nothing nature didn’t intend. The result is homestyle flavor, clean label, and controlled nutrition. For our pork, turkey, and ground beef we employ sous vide. Cooking the product in specialized cooking bags makes for the most tender turkey and pork you will find in a frozen meal. Cooked for hours in its own juices, the “low and slow” technique makes our food the finest you will put your fork to. This method enhances food safety even further by rendering the product bacteriologically inert with no exposure to the outside environment until we are ready to plate your meal. The vegetables we use in your meals are all Individually Quick Frozen (IQF), many at the point of harvest. Using IQF vegetables means that there are no chemicals or preservatives added and the vegetables remain minimally processed. The side dishes retain the flavor, color, and good nutrition that nature intended. Our meals are not assembled by machines, but by skilled men and women who plate each meal manually. This allows us to ensure that your meal is layered correctly, and has the highest quality presentation. Numerous Quality Assurance protocols are followed and a dedicated staff of QC/QA technicians oversee the meal assembly process. Further, we are inspected by a dedicated staff of in-plant inspectors from the USDA that provides another layer of assurance of Food Safety and regulatory compliance. From preparation of the sauce for your meal to having it in a frozen state takes around 11 minutes. We employ a state-of-the-art liquid nitrogen spiral freezer to ensure your meal is frozen rapidly. The meals are plated kitchen-fresh and are transferred to our cryogenic freezer at -110*f. This rapid freezing technique assures food safety by eliminating the opportunity for food to stay in the “danger zone” of temperature and rapidly cool to the point that pathogenic growth is eliminated. There is no safer method to produce frozen meals with limited handling.
